Features
Metrics are aggregated as your logs arrive, so the dashboards answer for days and months, not just the last hour.
4 dashboards, ready on day one
Overview for traffic, cache and errors; Performance for request times, RTT and datacenters; HTTP & Cache for paths, hosts and devices; Bot Analytics for automated traffic. Deployed with your workspace.
Each dashboard keeps its own retention and granularity: up to 360 days on Overview and Performance, 90 on HTTP & Cache and Bot, at one minute to one day. What you can keep depends on your plan.
hits / (hits + misses)87.4%5xx / requests0.3%quantile(request_time, 0.95)94msCounts, averages and percentiles are aggregated when the logs come in, so long ranges load without querying every request. Cache HIT ratio, error ratio and request times, ready to read.
IP whitelist · 203.0.113.0/24
Add, remove and reset dashboard accounts from the Control Panel. An optional IP whitelist is checked before anyone reaches the Grafana login.

one address for your organization
Open Grafana
One workspace per organization, at your own address, provisioned and managed by Medianova. Dashboard accounts can change the time range, filter, inspect values and export panel data; the dashboards themselves stay as they are.
All sources · 56.8M logs · 14.3 TB
Medianova, Cloudflare and Akamai share one data model. Filter by source, compare them, or read them all together.
History
Requests and data transferred across every source. How far back you can go depends on the dashboard and your plan.
Analytics or Instant Logs
Analytics keeps aggregated metrics for long ranges; it has no raw log view. Instant Logs keeps every request record. Most teams use both.
| You need to | Use |
|---|---|
| Analyze traffic trends over time | Analytics |
| Monitor cache efficiency and error ratios | Analytics |
| Compare countries or CDN sources | Analytics |
| Investigate one request | Instant Logs |
| Read every field of a raw log record | Instant Logs |
| Filter request-level data while troubleshooting | Instant Logs |
How it works
Everything happens in the Control Panel under Edgesight → Analytics. The first source creates the workspace; later sources join it.
Medianova, Cloudflare or Akamai. Medianova connects through your account; the others send through Logpush or DataStream.
All four are on by default. Keep the ones you need and set each one’s retention and granularity.
Pick the subdomain for your Grafana address, add dashboard users and, if you like, an IP whitelist.
Review and confirm. Medianova provisions the workspace, the pipeline and the dashboards, then you open Grafana.
Sources
Each provider’s logs are normalized to the same data model, so every dashboard reads the same way and sources can be filtered and compared.
