AS21245 (Medianova) has an OPEN peering policy. We’re willing to peer with networks which are connected to one or more exchange points which we have in common, in accordance with the policies described below:

  • Only send us traffic that is destined for the prefixes we announce to you. Do not point default route at us or use static routes to send us traffic that does not match the routes we announce to you.
  • Medianova will generally announce consistent routes at each exchange point however, we can selectively withdraw or announce routes at any time without notice, as needed to protect our service quality.
  • Medianova expects you to peer at all available exchange fabrics we have in common if we peer via private interconnect with you.
  • Medianova can alter it’s peering policy and peering requirements at any time.
  • Medianova can accept or decline a peering request at any time for any reason.
  • Medianova can terminate any peering connection at any time without notice.

Requirements

Medianova relies on PeeringDB as its sole authoritative source of information. Consequently, peering partners are required to maintain an updated PeeringDB entry prior to initiating a bilateral peering session.

Both parties must have an up-to-date NOC contact, which is responsive to raised issues and concerns.

If you exchange more than 1Gbps of traffic in a location, either party can request a PNI. We accept single or multiples of 10G or 100G connections. Upgrades to this capacity must happen in a timely manner to ensure congestion-free exchange of traffic.
